CAN YOU PICTURE FREEDOM?

These photos from the European Press Photo Agency (EPA) archives were part of an exhibition that was on display at the Palais Des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland in December 2015 for Human Rights Day.

Why pictures made by photojournalists? Photography as an art form has the ability to capture mood and emotion to tell a story using composition, light and subjects. Through photojournalism, we can juxtapose these timeless rights and freedoms set with the immediacy and vibrancy of current events. A photograph can provide many interpretations, depict myriad freedoms. Look closely. What rights or freedoms do you see in the photos?
