No Place to Call Home
A Palestinian family who fled their home seeks shelter in a United Nations school in Khan Younis, central Gaza Strip. As a result of forced evictions, people are often left homeless and destitute, without means of earning a livelihood and, in practice, with no effective access to legal or other remedies. The right to adequate housing means having a secure tenure without having to worry about being evicted or having your home taken away.
