Hands Across the Ages
A young girl holds the hand of an elderly resident at the Anand Dham Care Home in Bhopal, India. By the end of the decade, 1 billion people worldwide will be over 60 years old and two-thirds of that population live in low to middle income countries. Older persons face challenges in the protection or enjoyment of their human rights. They also experience many forms of discrimination. All older persons have the right to live the last years of their lives with dignity.
