With my poster design, I tried to present the idea of Freedom from want through a family in need, which tends to get rid of want and deprivation and live a prosperous and happy life. The family is painted in a ‘dull color’, through which I tried to show the human being coexisting with nature. For the family moving towards the nature this dull color, which is linked to land colors, symbolizes poverty, need, and misery. For nature, the ‘dull color’ symbolizes crusted, barren, and rain thirsty soil. As the soil is thirsty for water to become fertile and lush, so are the people who are also in search of good and safe lives, free from want.
